Following AI even when it loses me
[DRAFT] I don't have a deep technical background. I'm trying to keep up with the flow anyway.
[DRAFT — starter article, replace with the real thing.]
I’m a designer who never took the computer-science route. So when the tools started moving this fast, I had two options: pretend it wasn’t happening, or follow the flow even when it loses me.
I picked the second one. It loses me a lot.
Staying a beginner on purpose
The uncomfortable part is being bad at something again. I spent years getting fluent in design, and now I’m back to reading docs I half understand, copying patterns I can’t fully explain yet. That’s fine. The Vespa taught me the same lesson — you learn the engine by getting your hands dirty, not by waiting until you understand it.
What I’m actually after
Not to become an engineer. To stay close enough to the material that I can still make things with my own hands, even as the material keeps changing under them.
